Triplett Tech students competed in the Skills for Life events at the Virginia State Fair on October 3, 2011.
Shenandoah County's vocational students fared very well against students from throughout the Commonwealth.
Electricity students, Dillion Frazier, Eric Kibler, Jacob Davis, and Brandon Dinges, earned tenth place.
Their teacher is Tim Stephens.
The Collision Repair Team, Corey Pepperman and Steven Huffman, placed fourth.
Bobby Ward is their teacher.
Gary Kibler's Masonry students,, Dustin Hockman and Tyler Mason, earned third place.
Cosmetology had multiple events and Triplett Tech boasted multiple winners. Lindsay Cubbage Wood is the
Cosmetology teacher.
