Statement Regarding SCPS Employee Indicted on Multiple Charges
Shenandoah County Public Schools has been notified that Tracy Phillips, a teacher at North Fork Middle School, has been indicted on multiple charges. Ms. Phillips has been suspended from her position at North Fork Middle School.
From the Shenandoah County Sheriff’s Office media release:
“On 5/10/23, Tracy Ann Phillips, of Basye, VA, was direct indicted in Shenandoah County Circuit Court, for twenty-two (22) counts of obtaining money by false pretenses and nineteen (19) counts of exploiting mental capacity.”
Shenandoah County Public Schools does not have any additional information at this time.
