Who We Are

Located in the heart of the beautiful Shenandoah Valley along the I-81 corridor, Shenandoah County Public Schools has over 1,000 teaching and support staff who serve more than 5,600 students (PK-12) in ten schools: three elementary, three middle, three high, and one career and technical school.

Shenandoah County Public Schools also hosts the Massanutten Regional Governor’s School, which serves students from Shenandoah, Page, and Rockingham Counties and the City of Harrisonburg.

    Shenandoah County Public Schools is only seeking fully insured medical, dental, vision and EAP proposals under this RFP.

    School Safety Alert Messaging

    Shenandoah County Public Schools takes the safety of our students and staff very seriously. In the event of an incident involving school safety, there are protocols in place to protect everyone on our campuses.     Cell Phone Free Education

    Following approval of a new policy by the Shenandoah County School Board, SCPS schools began instituting a bell-to-bell policy that requires all students to put away their cell phones and personal electronic communication devices, including airpods and smart watches, for the entirety of the school day.     Edulog Parent Portal App Info for Bus Riders

    The Edulog Parent Portal app is free to parents, caregivers, and students. It will show you what time the bus will be at your stop and the current GPS location of the bus.
