Who We Are

Located in the heart of the beautiful Shenandoah Valley along the I-81 corridor, Shenandoah County Public Schools has over 1,000 teaching and support staff who serve more than 5,600 students (PK-12) in ten schools: three elementary, three middle, three high, and one career and technical school.

Shenandoah County Public Schools also hosts the Massanutten Regional Governor’s School, which serves students from Shenandoah, Page, and Rockingham Counties and the City of Harrisonburg.

    SCPS RFP for Managed Internet Broadband Services

    Shenandoah County Public Schools is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide a solution for a 5-year Managed Internal Broadband Services Contract to include operation, management, and monitoring of broadband internal connections. The proposal will also include the replacement of all current network hardware. A virtual pre-bid conference will be held Wednesday, March 3, 2026, at 2:00 PM. Proposals are due Monday, March 23, 2026, by 2:00 PM.

    Edulog Parent Portal App Info for Bus Riders

    The Edulog Parent Portal app is free to parents, caregivers, and students. It will show you what time the bus will be at your stop and the current GPS location of the bus.     School Safety Alert Messaging

    Shenandoah County Public Schools takes the safety of our students and staff very seriously. In the event of an incident involving school safety, there are protocols in place to protect everyone on our campuses.     Cell Phone Free Education

    Following approval of a new policy by the Shenandoah County School Board, SCPS schools began instituting a bell-to-bell policy that requires all students to put away their cell phones and personal electronic communication devices, including airpods and smart watches, for the entirety of the school day.
