Licensure Renewal Course Reimbursement

The Licensure Renewal Course Reimbursement supports licensed employees who need coursework to renew a Virginia teaching license. Eligible participants may receive reimbursement for one approved college course per licensure renewal period, up to $750. Reimbursement is provided after successful course completion and submission of required documentation, including proof of payment and a transcript or grade report.

Step 1: Submit Licensure Renewal Course Request

Step 2: Receive Approval or Denial via email

Step 3: Register and Pay

Step 4: Complete Course

  • Earn a final grade equivalent to a B or higher.

Step 5: Submit Licensure Renewal Reimbursement Request

  • Submit:
    • Itemized tuition statement
    • Proof of payment
    • Transcript or grade report

Step 6: Receive Reimbursement

  • Approved reimbursements are issued via direct deposit.
